In order to attract and retain business in Powhatan County, the Board of Supervisors offers the incentive of NO gross-receipts business, professional and occupational license tax (BPOL).
The Powhatan County Board of Supervisors, through sound fiscal management, strives to maintain a low tax rates on the County’s citizens and businesses. The taxes are evaluated each year along with the County’s budget and are adjusted as needed.
